Often using orange and turquoise as main colors, Pasuruan, Indonesia-born artist Garis Edelweiss creates absolutely stunning and poetic allegorical drawings full of surrealism, symbolism, and darkness.
Graphite pencil is my main tool. Drawing on canvas, paper and wood. I am very interested in detail object like feathers, old wood, bones, rocks, foliage and other detail objects. Surrealism became style of my work, trying to invite to my private mind where the boundaries between dream and reality are difficult to imagine. Actively participate in art exhibitions until now. Along with my work I also started to make the installation.
