Reuben Wu (previously featured), a British photographer, director, music producer, and member of the electronic band Ladytron, has created an otherworldly drone photography series titled “Lux Noctis”. This ongoing project captures landscapes that transcend time and space, drawing inspiration from planetary exploration, chiaroscuro painting, and science fiction. Wu’s vision is to transform familiar scenes into undiscovered landscapes that renew our perceptions of the world.
The series features breathtaking images of landscapes that seem to defy gravity and conventional understanding of the world. Wu’s use of drone photography allows him to capture unique perspectives and compositions that are both visually striking and thought-provoking. “Lux Noctis” is a testament to Wu’s creative vision and his ability to push the boundaries of photography.
Lux Noctis is an ongoing project depicting landscapes unbound by time and space, influenced by ideas of planetary exploration, chiaroscuro painting, and science fiction. We are overwhelmed everyday by beautiful images of the familiar. I imagine these scenes transformed into undiscovered landscapes which renew our perceptions of our world.
