Finland-based French-Finnish photographer Karina Boissonnier creates surreal imagery blending fantasy with reality into obscure and hazy universes
There is a world in my head, full of all kind of magic or beautiful stuff that cannot be seen in the real world. This is why I photograph. I recreate what I find beautiful and what makes me dream. I consider myself being an artist first and a photographer second. Creating is more important to me than catching moments. Photography is the tool I use to create moments. I also use photography to show my feelings, talk and send messages. I love taking self-portraits because they are more real and true to me.
