Rima Day is an artist and fashion designer from Tokyo who blends those two abilities to create stunning, intriguing, and thought-provoking mixed-media works inspired by the human body and nature, which have red thread embroideries in the shape of veins and roots as the main feature.
Rima Day uses thread, fabric and paper to create artwork that is inspired by nature and the human body. Even though her background is fashion and costuming, she adapted her skill and knowledge in garment construction into a language to express herself through art.
