Nayan Shrimali and Vaishali Chudasama are a couple of artists based in Ahmedabad, India, who took up a fantastic challenge: to make one single bird paper cut sculpture in miniature every day throughout 2018. They titled it 365 Days of Miniature art. The result is a collection of gorgeous birds of all types and origins.
Each bird is made by cutting it in different layers on paper and then painted with watercolors and hand-assembled to give a final 2.5 Dimensional look. Each artwork took from 4-6 hours to finish. We enjoyed each bird every day and learned a lot about birds and their nature while making them.
