Chicago-based artists Edwige Massart and Xavier Wynn use found objects, such as yarn, river rocks, crayon tips, sea shells, shattered car windows, nails, jewelry, crystals, circuit boards, toys, and sleeping pills, to compose extraordinary sculptures that emulate anatomical cross-sections of human heads. They are part of the ongoing series ‘Heads’, which distills the complexities of relationships into dense, topographical psyches.
