Cheryl Lee is an American artist based in Cape Coral, Florida, creator of fascinating jewelry that refers to the mystical universe of fairy tales, from which she draws inspiration.
Her pieces are produced with clay combined with pieces of crystalline rocks and other natural elements she finds along the way, on inland trips. They are charming jewelry and accessories, in the shape of plants and animals, which would also be great decoration pieces.
I am a free-spirited nature artist who has a vast love for the oceans, forests, and mountains – and of course, all elements this good green earth has given us. (…) The process of creation is what is special to me, while the outcome is special to you. What is this world if not a symbiotic relationship, not only to earth and sea but to you and me. (…) I use the elements found in nature to create my sculptures. Almost every natural material used in my work is found with my own two hands. Materials that are not self-found (such as wool and scraps of fur) are ethically sourced.
