Francesco Camillo Giorgino and Julien Malland (a.k.a. Millo and Seth Globepainter) have each left their mark across the world through murals and public interventions. In their new exhibition Beyond, they step away from city walls and reposition their practice within gallery walls, presenting thirty new works and even a collaborative canvas installation. The show opens with a sweeping map tracing their many paths across continents — an emblem of the physical and creative journeys that underpin the exhibition.
The visual languages of both artists resonate harmoniously yet distinctly. Millo’s work tends toward bold line work, architectural motifs, and occasional bursts of saturated color set against more restrained backgrounds. Seth leans into optical illusions and soft palettes, layering subtle distortions and shifting perspectives. When installed side by side, their pieces create surprising echo and friction, amplifying the threads of dreamlike narrative, playful displacement, and spatial curiosity.
Beyond remains on view through November 16 in Miami, offering a rare chance to witness how artists accustomed to massive murals adapt to a gallery context. The transition from concrete to canvas does not dilute their vision; instead, it reconfigures scale and intimacy while preserving the wonder that defines their work. If you’re drawn to art that blurs boundaries, this is a moment worth experiencing.
