The Baobab is a large iconic tree native to Africa found in many countries. The trunk, in the form of a cone, can reach 9 meters in diameter and 30 meters in height. Baobabs grow mainly in dry regions, where the trunk is usually excavated to use as a water tank or temporary shelter. American photographer Beth Moon created this fascinating series in black and white to visually immortalize those majestic and sacred millennial trees.
