Miniature looms: colorful patterns woven onto wishbones and branches by Kaci Smith

Central New Jersey-born, California-based plastic artist Kaci Smith transforms wishbones and branches into miniature looms by weaving colorful patterns on them. Everything started during the COVID-19 pandemic days. She used the lockdown times to challenge herself in this beautiful and fascinating project.

The air was so filled with smoke that even my studio became off-limits. The first branch weaving was just a way to pass some time and do something creative while being stuck indoors.
