Surprising stone sculptures by Hirotoshi Ito

Japanese artist Hirotoshi Ito, also known as Jiyuseki, creates intriguing and funny sculptures, adding unexpected elements to solid stones, such as human mouths, coins, zippers, seeds and other everyday objects. Each sculpture is so perfectly made, that make us forget that they are mainly made of stone and not other soft materials, such as fabric, paper, plastic, food and even liquid ones.
