Tokyo-born artist Ramon Todo creates intriguing sculptures by inserting massive slabs of glass into stones he finds along the way. Todo removes substantial sections from the middle of the stones and replaces them with glass slabs of equivalent thickness.
Afterward, the glass is polished in order to follow the shape of the ‘host’ stones. Those sculptures symbolize the perfect fusion between the natural aesthetic and the one produced by human ingenuity.
