In 2018, she discovered the enchantment of sculpting with wool and embarked on a journey to create lifelike creatures. Each sculpture is meticulously crafted using a wired armature and pure wool. Jo’s attention to detail extends to the eyes, claws, and paws, which she fashions from materials like glass, wax, and glue. Her whimsical creations—whether a hare, dogs, a horse, or even an octopus — radiate charm and playfulness, capturing hearts worldwide.
Jo’s handmade pet and animal sculptures blend the finest sheep’s wool, silk fibers, wire, and wax. She even incorporates pet fur into her work, blending it seamlessly with the wool or encasing it within the core of the body.
