Bird paper cut sculptures in miniature by Nayan & Vaishali

Nayan Shrimali and Vaishali Chudasama are a couple of artists based in Ahmedabad, India, who took up a fantastic challenge: to make one single bird paper cut sculpture in miniature every day throughout 2018. They titled it 365 Days of Miniature art. The result is a collection of gorgeous birds of all types and origins.

“Each bird is made by cutting it in different layers on paper and than painted with water colors and hand assembled to give a final 2.5 Dimensional look. Each artwork took from 4-6 hours to finish. We enjoyed each bird everyday and learned a lot about birds and their nature while making them.” – Nayan & Vaishali.
