Amazing ‘wearable artworks’ by self-taught artist Rachel Sigmon

Rachel Sigmon is a San Francisco-based self-taught costume designer and SFX makeup artist passionate about the fantasy world, from where she draws inspiration to create her pieces.

Rachel says she has been doing makeup for the last 12 years and the costumes and headpieces for the last 6 years, working with a combination of various materials. Her intricate creations become even more amazing with the surreal photo compositions, often made in collaboration with photographer Tara Van Rooyen, her business partner.
